New Moon slays box office

New Moon slayed its competition at the box office over the weekend. In its first three days, the Twilight sequel raked in $140.7 million dollars in North America to bring its worldwide total to $258.8 million. The North American numbers placed New Moon third all-time behind only The Dark Knight and Spider-Man 3.

Vatican slams New Moon
