Simon Cowell’s all-star remake of R.E.M.’s song “Everybody Hurts” has become the fastest-selling charity single this century in the UK. The single sold more than 453,000 copies in its first week. Featuring Mariah Carey, Miley Cyrus, Leona Lewis and Kylie Minogue, all of the proceeds from the song will go to Haiti’s earthquake relief efforts.
