Disband returns for second season

Good news for aspiring rock stars, the Gemini-nominated series disBAND is coming back to Much for a second season.
A total of 13 acts have been picked for the show from the more than 2000 applications.
disBAND has already spawned the successful group Stereos.
Season two premieres November 17th but before that, you can catch a special audition episode tomorrow night at 6pm EST right here on Much.

Stereos Dan: Signing This Sunday

Hey what’s happenin everybody? This is my first blog since the album was released, I should’ve written one sooner but it’s been crazy in Stereos world!!!
Last Saturday we did a signing at Markville mall in Markham, and I gotta say it was one of the most amazing times I’ve had. I can’t believe so many fans came out to support us and hang out. We even got gifts! There were some fans I recognized from other shows/events as well as a ton of new fans, which we were really excited about. We’re truly blessed with all our loyal supporters, we wouldn’t be here if we didnt have em. So, we stayed and signed everything we could til the mall asked us to leave, haha.
We have another signing this weekend at West 49 in Vaughan Mills Mall on Sunday, November 1st at 2pm. As a special treat, we are going to play a few acoustic tracks as well. I hope to see even more fans at this one, so come say hi and hang out!!!

Stereos debut at #3 on national albums chart

Edmonton’s Stereos have chalked-up yet another milestone with a #3 debut on this week’s Canadian SoundScan Top Current Album Chart.
Their self-titled first release not only marks the biggest Canadian debut of 2009, but also the highest in four years since Hedley’s first release.

Stereos Back On MOD!

Tell me, how much do you love Stereos? Like, a lot? A LOT A LOT? If yes, good. Cause we’re giving away a huge-ass diamond necklace that says ‘STEREOS’ and you’ll probably want to LOVE THEM to wear it. And you gotta LOVE THEM to deserve to win it!

1. Go to Stereos concerts and impress them. They won’t be able to miss it.

Stereos: Tomorrow! (Pat’s Excited)

Hey y’all!
It’s pretty much the raddest thing ever to be able to finally release our debut album. After years of hard work, it’s literally a dream come. We’ve spent years playing in bands, touring, starving and working just to make our music heard and I’m really proud to put this out. We want everyone to know just how much we love our fans, because their support has made us who we are today, and we can’t wait to share this all with you and meet you all on our upcoming tour. This album is as much yours as it is ours, so give yourselves a pat on the back too!
We are gonna be doing an autograph session at the Markville HMV on Saturday, October 24th from 1-2pm so hopefully some of y’all can make it and hang out with us. Also make sure to tune in to MOD on Much October 20th, we’ll be playing live on the air! So thank you all again for being with us from the start, and I can’t wait to see where we all take it from here. Love you all!

Stereos Aaron: Album Countdown!

Hey Canada! Hope everyone had a fantastic Thanksgiving weekend, we sure did! Some serious early morning football took place followed by some even more serious turkey (or in my case, Tofurkey) consumption. I am happy to report that all of the injuries occured on the playing field, and not in the food fight…… sorry mom!! There has been a lot to be thankful for this year for us in Stereos and it’s all because of your support!! We love our fans so much!!!
So in other news….THE ALBUM DROPS IN ONE WEEK!!! Is anyone else as excited as I am? I have my copy already, it’s all that I have been listening to! Apologies to Taylor Swift and Biggie, I will return to listening to you soon….. maybe. We are so stoked about the release that yesterday we released “BYE BYE BABY” on iTunes just because we want you to hear it as soon as possible. It’s a personal favourite of mine and if you’ve seen us live I’m sure it’s one of yours too!

Stereos: Miles Is Hyped About Touring

Hello to everyone!!!!!!! As you guys know the album is set to be released on October 20th!! We actually just put the finishing touches on it and finalized it about a week ago. We would like to give a huge shout out to our producer Gavin Brown - he basically lived in the studio for the last week doing all the final tweaks to make it the best album possible. I hope he’s catching up on his sleep!
As for us we had a nice little week off, hitting the gym real hard, getting into the NFL season and Robb and I snuck in a little time to work on some Eurobeats… maybe Underground Hiphoperations will sign us ;D….
