A tuxedo-clad Jay-Z kicked off the Super Bowl. He collaborated with an orchestra for a special version of his hit “Run This Town.” Queen Latifah followed with a patriotic run-through of “America the Beautiful.” Dressed in white Carrie Underwood channeled the style of Elvis Presley as she delivered the national anthem.
