Heyo! So I have way more energy today then I had the first half of the week…I’m sure I’ll crash soon and be super tired just in time for the show. But I think it’s because of the weather and the sunshine! It’s actually nice out and is getting warmer. As much as I love the winter for snowboarding and stuff, it does suck sometimes.

But I’d say I’m ready for spring snowboarding followed by a summer full of wakeboarding, cottages, concerts and festivals! You want winter to be over yet??

AND I also want your thoughts on something. I’m actually trying to think of a good car show that we could make on Much. I want your help. Let me know any ideas for car shows you might have. I remember my first car, or when I used to borrow my parents’ car when they didn’t need it so I could drive to school. My brother and I plus a few friends used to love getting the car and drive around mooning everyone hahaha. Might not be funny to you but it was to us! But anyway, the first car is awesome!! And I want to get a car show that helps make that first car better and more fun. So let me hear some ideas if you have them.

Back from holidays!

Well, I worked over the holidays but I had a few days off. I hope everyone enjoyed their holidays. Just to fill you in on what I did…a whole lot of nothing!!! It felt great. I had time to see some friends, hung out with family, and watch some movies. Oh and ate a lot of food.

I didn’t make a New Year’s resolution this year. I usually don’t. I figure if I’m going to turn over a new leaf or change something in my life why not start right away. But the one thing I do try to do after New Year’s is eat healthy. Let’s face it, I don’t know if this is your situation, but it’s so hard to eat healthy over the holidays haha.

But January is going to be a crazy month, I have a lot going on. This Saturday I’m going to a Chasing Amee concert in the Kitchener area, I’m packing up my stuff because I’m moving, I’m also going away on the 24th on a nice warm vacation! Anyone else going somewhere warm this winter? Maybe for Spring Break? Anyway I should get back to work. Talk to you guys soon!

So I’m not feeling well. I haven’t been all week and I’ve been fighting it as best I could. It’s been getting worse and it hurts to talk…now that I’ve got the complaining out of the way let’s talk business: it’s been super busy with guests lately and it just keeps coming.

Tonight I’ll be talking to the judges of So You Think You Can Dance Canada and then on Monday TOM CRUISE (!!!) Top Gun, Risky Business, A Few Good Men, Mission Impossible, Minority Report …the list goes on.

He has done some amazing movies and now he is coming in to talk about his new one, Valkyrie. I’m looking forward to the show and that’s why I’m going to try and get as much rest as I can so I’m not sick on Monday! See you guys then!

Hey, hope you had a good long weekend!

I had a really unexpected and fun weekend. I was working in Kingston at a BMX event and we also hit up Queens University to check out everyone moving in. Well the BMX-ers were amazing! Some really great riders, and some nasty wipeouts too. When we went to the campus we talked to a few students walking around and met up with a dude named Brett who was moving his stuff in. Let me tell you one of the coolest guys at Queens. We helped him move in, checked out the dorm a bit, joked around a bit and taped the whole thing.

After Kingston, I ended up going up to my parent’s cottage. My sister and my brother-in-law were there too. There are two cottages on the property and one is really old and is in the process of being fixed up. While we were in there doing some work we heard a squeaking noise and figured it had to be a bat…so we checked it out and sure enough we have a bat jumping out of this hole and flying right at our faces! So my brother-in-law grabs a fishing net, I have a fishing pole and we are swinging at this thing, knocking over lamps, vases with flowers, chairs, chasing this thing down and running and ducking from it too. (I don’t know what I thought a fishing pole was going to, do but it was the closest thing I could grab). We ended up catching it in the net, and we also had some bat houses that we had just put up so they are close by and can eat the bugs. So we just put it in there and hopefully it will stay there and make it home. Back inside we go and out came another bat!!!! Flying around our heads, my brother-in-law almost falls off a chair, drops the shop vac he had in his hands, he grabs a net, I grab a net and off we go chasing this thing knocking over more stuff! Finally I tossed the net and caught him! We put him in the bat house and blocked up any holes in the building so no more bats can get in…and that was my weekend! I also went swimming, had camp fires and all that good stuff, but the bat thing was just hilarious to me. I wish you could have seen it; it was like a scene from a movie. Anyway back to school for a lot of people…and I’m back to work.
