Episode #6, Sundown! Unlike my best theory from last week, this was NOT a Sun-centric episode. Instead, we get to see a slice of Sayid’s alternate-past-future-sideways-present. This episode is about Sayid trying to be a good person, and how he’s going to… well, I won’t spoil it. But first:
Previously on LOST, Sayid is shot, drowned, dead for two hours, electrocuted, tortured, and nearly poisoned, in that order. But that’s okay, because in Alternate Universe Los Angeles, everything is happy. The fences are white and pickety, the flowers are in bloom, and Nadya, the love of Sayid’s life, is married with children. Married to Sayid’s brother. Yup, heartwarming.

Episode Four, called The Lighthouse! Coincidentally, this is Episode 108. Did you hear that, snickerdoodle? 108. 1-0-8. Know what that is? Yeah, one of those.
This episode had two huge plot twists/revelations in the first ten minutes! But you have to hit the cut to see them…

How psyched am I for this season of LOST? If my end of Season Five blog was any indication, you’ll know the answer is SO EXCITED. I’ve been telling everyone I know about the coming of the new season for the last three weeks.
For tonight, I wanted to do a play-by-play blog post about how in-friggin-crazy everything is, BUT then I got carried away watching the show.
So I’m gonna set up an easy chart for you folk to check out, and put some point form thoughts below, so next week we can have a super-productive discussion. Hopefully this will help us all (especially those who got too excited to sit through two hours and went running crazily through the snow in their boxer shorts) get un-confused and caught up.
SERIOUS spoilers under the cut.

Oh. Em. Glee. Did you see it? Did you see it? DID YOU SEE IT???!!!
I don’t know about you, but I’m already counting down the days until the bee-u-tee-ful, glorious day when Glee returns with all new episodes (in 122 days, IF you were wondering). At least they didn’t leave us with a cliffhanger (thanks, 90210), or a cut to black (I’m talking to you, Sopranos). They gave us an amazing episode that tied up all the loose ends, yet still left us with some burning questions.
Finally…the real babydaddy is exposed! Of course, leave it up to Rachel, “the psychic”, to deliver the news to Finn. Yes, yes…we know you want him all to yourself. As Quinn said…now neither of them have him. As a Finchel supporter, I was disappointed they left that story line at loose ends. Let’s just hope they make that happen in April.

Warning: After you watch Jersey Shore, you might get a slight Jersey accent, a little more orange than you started, and your hair might be filled with gel.
MTV has developed a new show for us couch potatoes (maybe not all of us) to feel better about our own lives. Put 8 Italian-Americans aka ‘Guido’ and ‘Guidettes’ into a big beach house by the shore in a town called Seaside Heights, Jersey shore and what do you get? One hilarious reality TV show! It is that simple kids.
Let’s clarify what a Guido and Guidette is. They are the stereotypical Italians that tan, use a bunch of hair gel, love to party, crave sex and are well dressed. Where do these stereotypes even come from? There are plenty of people who fit this description who are not Italians… but reality TV is unexplainable.

So, Gleeks… did you see Wednesday’s episode?
The episode was all about leaving your mark, and getting recognition. I laughed, I cried, I opened my eyes up really wide… almost as wide as Ms. Pillsbury’s.

Hey, Gleeks! I’m here to talk about Wednesday’s episode, “Hairography”!!!
Here’s the set list for the episode:
-”Bootylicious”- Destiny’s Child (sung by the Jane Adams High School Glee Club)
-”Papa Don’t Preach” - Madonna (sung by Quinn)
-”Crazy In Love” - Beyonce/”Hair” - Hair The Musical Cast (sung by the McKinley Glee Club)
-”Imagine” - John Lennon (sung by the Haverbrook School For The Deaf & McKinley Glee Club )
-”True Colors” - Cyndi Lauper (sung by the McKinley Glee Club)
It seemed like the common theme of this episode was distractions. Quinn tried to distract Finn using Rachel, Terri tried to distract Mr. Shue from her lack-of-pregnancy, and the whole Glee Club was distracted from their true talent, by using Hairography.

Back at camp the celebrities select Sanjaya and Holly to compete in the food trial that requires “shopping skills”. Sanjaya looks like a member of the blue man group when he arrives for the competition. I will give this show some props now because they seem to be stepping it up with the competitions. They’ve moved away from only eating and touching disgusting stuff. Good for them! But even though it’s a more interesting challenge, it’s not very exciting. In the end, Sanjaya wins by collecting more food items.

The celebrities continue to compete in the immunity challenge “Hang Tough”. It’s a test of endurance which nicely reflects how their careers have slipped right through their fingers. Apparently because of doctor’s orders Janice has to sit everything out. I sense Dr. Spaceman is in Costa Rica. In the end, Lou (and his bug bitten arms) wins immunity, how thrilling.
