Get a side of fries with the new Eclipse movie

Maybe Vampires don’t need to eat, but us human folk sho’ do! Burger King has reprised its partnership with Summit Entertainment to promote the upcoming Twilight film, Eclipse. Last November the fast food chain starting promoting New Moon only four days before the film was released. Promotional products available at Burger King included New Moon collectible cards, New Moon water bottles and coupons for New Moon merchandise.

With the increased lead time for this film, Burger King is sure to up the ante on its giveaways. How many Whoppers do I need to eat to collect my own Taylor Lautner? Now that’s called having it my way!

Robert Pattinson gets serious in “Remember Me”

Can’t wait until March 12th to see Robert Pattinson’s new film? Fret not, Twihards, because we’ve got the scoop. We had a chance to attend a preview screening of Remember Me yesterday and can safely say that it will please existing Pattinson fans while – dare we say it – also introduce him to a whole new audience.

This is actually the second film Pattinson has released since the Twilight phenomenon made him one of Hollywood’s hottest stars. The actor starred as artist Salvador Dali in the limited release, Little Ashes, last year. Remember Me, tells the story of two people who meet through an unusual twist of fate and develop a relationship that may be threatened by some deep-rooted secrets.

Eclipse trailer premieres March 12

The wait is over! Summit Entertainment tweeted earlier today that the trailer for The Twilight Saga: Eclipse will play before Robert Pattinson’s latest movie Remember Me. The film premieres in theatres on March 12th, so get your tickets Twi-hards!

If you can’t get tickets to Remember Me on March 12th, never fear, the trailer will reportedly be online the next day.

Will Breaking Dawn be released in 3D?

The fine people over at Summit Entertainment are debating whether Breaking Dawn, the final film installment in the Twilight series, should be shown in 3D. The decision must be made by the end of the month, as filming is set to start soon and special 3D cameras will be necessary for the film.

Etsy user Manllow has created life-size boyfriend pillows that resemble Twilight hottie Edward Cullen. The description of the boyfriend pillow reads “Sleep with him, cuddle with him, use him as a neck rest, the Edward Manllow is there to be your man and pillow all in one.”

The pillows sold for only $35 US, but unfortunately the pillows have sold out. Keep visiting Manllow on Etsy though and maybe more will appear.

New photos from Twilight Eclipse released

A new set of stills from The Twilight Saga: Eclipse has been released. Several of the photos depict Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart’s characters Edward and Bella in a series of happy and romantic poses, sharing some tender moments in bed, embracing in the forest, and staring deeply into each others’ eyes while surrounded by wildflowers. But the most interesting image is of Bryce Dallas Howard, who has replaced Rachelle Lefevre as Victoria. Note how Howard is sporting Lefevre’s signature voluminous red locks as her character twists Edward’s neck. The Twilight Saga: Eclipse is set for release on June 30.

Miley Cyrus Tops Kids’ Choice Awards

Miley Cyrus is leading the nominees for Nickelodeon’s 23rd Annual Kids’ Choice Awards, which will happen on March 27th. Cyrus is nominated for four awards, Favourite Female Singer, Favorite Movie Actress, Favorite TV Actress and Favorite Song for “Party in the U.S.A.” Jonas Brothers have scored three nominations between them; the band is in the running for Favorite Music Group, while Joe and Nick are both up for Favorite TV actor for the brothers’ show Jonas. Kevin was not nominated. The Twilight Saga: New Moon got the Nickelodeon nod for Favorite Movie while Taylor Lautner was nominated for Favorite Movie Actor.

So what big plans does the birthday boy have? “Absolutely nothing really. I mean, I’ll spend time with family and friends… I don’t like to do anything huge, but it is 18, so, it’s kind of a big one I guess.”

Wow, looks like Taylor is mistaking being legal for being old. Dude, go out, party, live a little. At least go and see your new flick, Valentine’s Day… y’know, with a girl.

How can you see the trailer for Eclipse?

Big news my fellow Twi-hards! Word on the blogesphere is that the trailer for Eclipse is going to be shown during the trailer section for Percy Jackson and the Olympians: The Lightening Thief. Now, this is still a rumour, so please don’t send me death threats if it doesn’t happen…but let’s all keep our fingers crossed!

For those of you who are still breathing and haven’t passed out, Percy Jackson and the Olympians opens this weekend.

Btw, if the Percy Jackson people can pull this off, it would be a HUGE way to boost ticket sales. HUGE!

* Well excuse my Brenda Walsh and pardon me a Kelly Taylor! Do you know what today’s date means? 9.02.10 Day! In honour, let’s all head on over to the Peach Pit, steal our best friend’s boyfriend, and then throw on some REM, shall we?

* We’ve got the big brains on board! Cambridge has added the Twilgiht series to the list of books to be taught in the University’s Children’s Literature Studies Program. The four Twilight books have sold over one million copies. Note to Cambridge: add Twilight to your business program as well.

* A contestant has given me some faith in beauty pageants. The current Miss Colombia, Natalia Navarro, is being pressured by beauty pageant followers in Colombia to have a nose job before she competes for the title of Miss Universe. Navarro has repeatedly refused and pointed out that she won her current title with her nose and does not believe all people should look the same. Can someone please give this woman Heidi Montag’s phone number?

* Whitney Port has been announced as a guest judge on the next season of America’s Next Top Model. I can’t think of anyone more boring to be a judge…I actually just fell asleep a little.

* While being followed by a group of paparazzi, Jordin Sparks did a very un-celebrity thing: she was nice to them. Jordin said that she felt bad for the paps, who were wet and cold from standing in the rain on the Miami boardwalk yesterday. So, she picked up her guitar and performed two songs. Apparently Jordin has yet to enroll in the Jude Law Punch a Pap School of Anger Mismanagement.
