Twilight nominated for People’s Choice Awards

The People’s Choice Awards were announced yesterday and no surprise, the Twilight saga is up for several.

Robert Pattinson is up for Best Actor, Kristen Stewart is up for Best Movie Actress and Taylor Lautner is nominated for Best Breakout Movie Actor. The entire cast is nominated for Best On Screen Team.

Stephenie Meyer to appear on Oprah

And speaking of Twilight, the creator Stephenie Meyer will appear on Oprah this Friday. The reclusive author said her appearance will be the only interview she’ll give to promote New Moon.

On her website she wrote:

“Since I’m only doing one interview, better make it big. Really big… Of course, most of the questions for Oprah will be designed for a broader audience than just die-hard ‘Twilight‘ fans, and I imagine people who read this site and other fansites will already know most of the answers.”

Taylor Lautner and Taylor Swift went on a date Sunday night.

The two Taylors were spotted at the Staples Center in Los Angeles taking in a Kings game.

People magazine reports that Swift’s limo picked up Lautner from the airport and then headed to the hockey game.

Robert Pattinson talks music career

While he’s less than a month away from becoming an even bigger movie star, Robert Pattinson has been talking about his other love as of late: music.

The actor better known as Edward Cullen, told the Australian Daily Telegraph that he’d one day like to concentrate more on his music. He had two songs on the Twilight soundtrack, but he’d like to do a full-length album.

“I’m not particularly interested in releasing it, but I’d like to do some gigs. I guess the only way to do that is to get an album out,” he said. “I never manage more than five chords… I have to work on that.”

Pattinson stars in Twilight Saga: New Moon, which opens everywhere on November 20th.
