Haiti benefits raise $85M

Hope For Haiti Now and Canada For Haiti raised nearly $77 million altogether for the earthquake relief efforts on Friday. George Clooney’s Hope For Haiti telethon featured performances by Justin Timberlake, Coldplay, and Beyonce, who altered the lyrics to her song Halo for the devastated country (“Haiti I can see your Halo…”)

Stars talk Haiti at Golden Globes

Bono pairs up with Nike to fight AIDS

U2 frontman Bono has paired with Nike in the fight against AIDS. The singer appeared with English soccer stars in London yesterday to promote the “Lace Up, Save Lives” campaign. Nike will sell shoes with red laces and donate the proceeds to AIDS charities.
