Take a trip to space by listening to Leisure Cruise’s new album now!

Fans might recognize Leisure Cruise’s Dave Hodge from his many years served in the Toronto indie collective Broken Social Scene. The longstanding musical group has spawned a number of offshoots throughout the years including Stars, Feist, Apostle of Hustle and Jason Collett, and now Hodge has decided to branch off and start a new project as well. Together with Firehorse’s Leah Siegel, they have formed Leisure Cruise and we have their debut self-titled album streaming on right now!

Leisure Cruise is a decidedly more futuristic affair, bringing in bigger, more dramatic synths to the table. The results are sparkling intergalactic anthems that transport us to another space. Siegel’s voice hypnotizes and draws you in, much like the strange album cover. If you’re a fan of Broken Bells or Phantogram, we highly recommend adding Leisure Cruise to your playlist ASAP.
