Taylor Lautner Lands Another Action Role

Move over Tom Cruise, Taylor Lautner is coming for your crown. The “New Moon” hunk definitely isn’t shying away from the action-star tag. Yeah, it looks like Taylor isn’t too worried about getting type-cast since he’s signed on for four (FOUR!) action movies in just four months.

The latest flick, called “Abduction” will find Lautner playing a young man who discovers his life isn’t what it seems when he sees his own baby photo on a missing persons website. Cue the jump kicks and crazy stunts.

Taylor will also show off his mind-bending martial arts moves in “Cancun,” a movie about a teenager whose girlfriend is kidnapped in Mexico by drug lords. Plus, he’ll play the title character in upcoming adaptations of both Max Steel and Stretch Armstrong. But don’t worry Team Jacob fans, Lautner will be back as Jacob Black for Breaking Dawn. Whoa, slow down Taylor!
