After performing the song on the Country Music Awards and the American Music Awards it’s no surprise that the latest single of Taylor Swift’s record-breaking Speak Now is ballad Back To December. Rumoured to be written about Swift’s former boyfriend, Twilight star Taylor Lautner, the video shows a snowed in Swift writing her apology to the boy she hurt.

Sporting her recent style of straight locks and wearing little more than a sweater, Swift shows fans her vulnerable side in a song where, for once, it’s Taylor that’s on the other side of the heartbreak. Though the album has dominated the pop charts, this is one of the most country videos we’ve seen from Taylor, a kind of throwback to her roots.

I’m a big fan of the snow in the house, though sitting there pants-less seems somewhat implausible. I was on the realistic-boat up until then. Again, good job on the Swifty love-interest casting. Girlfriend can definitely pick ‘em.
