Taylor Swift to perform at the MTV Video Music Awards

We might be seeing red when Taylor Swift drops her new album Red on October 22 but we won’t be angry. And there’s nothing to be angry about this next announcement: Taylor Swift will be performing at the 2012 MTV Video Music Awards at the Staples Center in Los Angeles on September 6. Alicia Keys, Green Day, P!nk, and One Direction are all set to perform as well for the evening and comedian Kevin Hart will be hosting.
