This week’s Teen Wolf was the perfect blend of emotional and hilarious. Stiles was the most important storyteller of the show, updating the Ms. Morell with the goings on at Beacon Hills. Last week we saw the death of Matt, a natural psychopath, and a new Master in Gerard the Grandad. We also saw the relationships between the parents and the kids strengthen … and weaken. Did you watch Battlefield? If not, watch it here. And read along with me.

The episode starts up with Stiles talking with Ms. Morell about what had transpired just days before.

He talks about Scott and his mother, their relationship strained with him failing and … for being a teenaged werewolf.

And Stiles levels with Ms. Morell. Things aren’t looking too good at Beacon Hills.

Later on Scott comes out of the shower (shirtless, naturally) and finds this. The Kanima. With Gerard. With Scott’s mom. Choking.

Gerard’s plan? Scott has to give up Derek and deliver him to Gerard … or his mother dies.

At Camp Derek, Erica and Boyd tell him that they’re leaving his pack. Derek, frustrated, warns them. They’re never going to stop running.

The third Beta, Issac, visits Scott at the Vet.

At the Vet’s office, Issac is shown that though he might have healing abilities, it isn’t just meant for him. When Isacc can or wants to, he has the ability to absorb pain and injury. Scott and the rest of the pack have this ability as well, but it is a gift that Issac never thought he had and is moved.

Later that night at the championship game, Scott is on the bench with Stiles. They have a moment that solidies the idea that people are gonna die.

Even perhaps these people.

Gerard gives Scott the warning: if he doesn’t produce Derek, he’s going to get Jackson to start killing again.

Meanwhile Allison has gone off the chain. She and her father have cornered Erica and Boyd in the woods. And Allison becomes a werewolf mercenary.

Just when Scott thought he had lost, Issac comes to support his friend which means they still have a fighting chance.

Scott’s mother stops Scott before things go into play. Instead of encouraging him to be weak to survive, she tells him to do whatever it takes to do the right thing.
Meanwhile at Camp Derek, Peter Hale and Derek have a row and Peter reveals that Derek needs the linchpin to win it all: Lydia. By using Lydia to speak to Jackson’s heart, they can somehow save him from the clutches of the Kanima/Master Gerard.

But is it too late?

So, it’s the end of the game. What has happened so far? Jackson is on the ground. He has clawed his own stomach? Scott, Mrs. McCall, Sherriff Stilinsky, and Lydia are still on the field. Derek and Peter seem to reunite. Allison bagged ehrself two Betas. Mr. Argent watches Allison with curiosity (and worry). Gerard is off being crazy.
… But where’s Stiles?

No seriously. Where’s Stiles?!
