Teen Wolf Ep. 9: Party Guessed

Did you guys have a happy Moonday like we did? Well, who wouldn’t with Party Guessed, the latest episode of Teen Wolf. If you haven’t watched it yet, watch it here and follow the recap with me. We’re still reeling from Allison’s mother getting bitten by Derek, Scott joining #TeamDerek, Stiles dealing with his dad being fired, and Allison … being Allison. The Kanima and its master are still on the loose. And guess what? This week The Master got outed. And they’re not happy.

The Betas have to gear up because tonight’s a full moon. Derek is trying to prep them for a potentially rocky ride as he has three brand new shape shifters to baby sit and they don’t have the same level of restraint as the others.

But not only is it the full moon, it’s Lydia’s birthday and she’s making sure that her and her bestie are well dressed for the occasion. Obvi, Allison has a lot more on her mind. Like how creepy Matt was. Yes, Allison, stick with this idea.

Umm, is this not the most… rosiest we’ve ever seen Mrs. Argent? Like also the happiest? And not just … straight up cray-cray? Maybe it is because she knows she gonna die tonight. Yep, that’s it. Oh? You think because she’s probs going to die that I have any remorse of the fact? She tried to kill Scott, an innocent. Yeah, no.

As Stiles and Sheriff Stalinsky try to crack the case, they realize it isn’t Mr. Harris who is the connection to all the victims, it is Mr. Lahey/Isaac’s dad who was the coach of the swim team and is the tie that binds them all. But wait, isn’t he dead?

Allison makes her way to the party but she still feels awful about whatever happened between her and Scott.

Guess she won’t have to worry about any public confrontations because … no one’s at the party. I suppose Lydia’s cray-cray-naked-in-the-middle-of-the-woods-expedition has scared off most of her “friends”.

At the #TeamDerek lair, he’s suiting up the Betas in torture devices to control them from wolf-ing out. Erica gets the worst one, One where her skull is in constant Saw-like pressure. I want to puke in my mouth, it looks so gross.

Looks like Jackson just joined the party. Uh-oh.

Here’s that wolfs bane cocktail.

Allison doesn’t look so happy. Why? Maybe because Matt is complete cray too and is thisclose to become her number one stalker?

Fine. So it is sad that Mrs. Argent is going to miss Allison. Who wouldn’t?

Probably one of the most intense moments of Teen Wolf. I’m not even going to talk about it. Maybe in a second.

At the #TeamDerek lair, we note that Isaac has found his anchor, the thing that pulls from from being just another Teen Wolf to an actual hero.

Mrs. Argent kamikaze’s herself in honour of the fight against werewolves. I guess we now know she abides by the saying, “Live by the sword, die by the sword.”

Lydia finds herself in a bit of a trance. Looks like that Peter Hale mojo is still working on her.

Allison loses her mother.

Fast forward back to the party. While Lydia was feeding the party guests a wolfs-bane flavoured drink, all of our favourite Scooby-Gang kids were hallucinating their worst fears. Allison was called out by her own self for being weak, Scott saw Allison and Jackson/Kanima making out hard core (blegh), Jackson saw his parents and they didn’t have faces, and Stiles saw his father, drunk, and blamed him for his mother’s death (see earlier). Heavy, heavy stuff. But then the boys heard Matt getting thrown into the pool. Wait, what? He can’t swim? … The boys put two and two together.

Yep. Psycho.

Unfortunately, Lydia (under Peter’s spell) has somehow dragged Derek from the lair and brought him back to the Hale house and has performed some sort of ritual that has allowed Peter to come back from the dead.
