Yo what’s up.

Listen, I’m super excited.? I couldn’t sleep at all last night.? Whyzat?? I’ll tells ya: Tonight marks the return to Toronto of one of my favourite bands ever – the almighty Fear Factory.

I’ll never forget the first time I saw them.? 1995, opening for Megadeth at the Molson Amphitheatre.? I hadn’t brought earplugs with me for some reason and I was sitting right up close to the stage.?

FF came on and the synths started up and suddenly I felt this pressure wave of sound come at me – it was unlike anything I’d ever felt before.? I could actually feel the sound reverberate inside me…the downtuned guitars…the machine gun drumming…mmm.

I won’t go into details but there might have been some inadvertent loss of bowel control.

Anyway, my point is that Fear Factory rules the world.

And guess what?? Tomorrow night the also almighty Machine Head is in town!? Two nights of solid gold rock – it’s like my birfday came early!

Oh oh oh.? Nearly forgot.? DOOM 3 is out.? I got it.? It’s unfreakinbelievable.??Unless you scare easily, you?owe it to yourself to play this game.? Linky link.
