No more Britney…please! A bigger story should be Barack Obama. If he wins the primary in New Hampshire tomorrow, the United States could be on the verge of major upheaval. I know a lot of things can happen in a year, and it’s a long way to actually being elected president (let alone leader of the Democratic party), but it seems like people are fed up with all the lies they’ve been constantly given and are ready to embrace change.
I think that when voters feel so disenfranchised with the political process, then any feeling of hope will be embraced. And Obama represents that…it’s a way for voters to try to take back control in a way and say f*#@ you!, we don’t want the bloated, old-school, fat cat politicians running things anymore. And I know, realistically, there will always be racial discord in the U.S., but electing Obama would definitely help in mending some of those deep wounds and scars. Obama is a Democrat but he’s such a fresh, hopeful choice, that bi-partisan loyalties seem to fall a bit to the wayside - where people are actually thinking this guy is the best choice and could actually really mark a significant step forward.
Tomorrow should be a very interesting day in American politics. It might mean a lot, or it might not…but it will definitely be worth watching.

As much as I would like to see it I don’t think the us is ready for a black president or a female.
