Fergie may be temporarily replaced as the female vocalist of the Black Eyed Peas, a source close to the band reveals exclusively to PerezHilton.com. Since Fergie is currently pregnant, her fellow band members have allegedly been auditioning aspiring female leads.
The 38-year-old singer previously announced a break from the band two years ago to focus on other endeavors, such her shoe line and charity work.
The anonymous source also tells Perez that Fergie is welcome to return to the band whenever she chooses to. If this is in fact true, I highly doubt it will be handled without drama. Band member changes never come easy.
Fergie and husband Josh Duhamel first announced the pregnancy back in February, via Twitter. They’ve kept hush about the details ever since, keeping the gender and due date secret from the public.
The band members have yet to confirm this report. So for now, Fergie fans can sigh a breath of relief as we keep this scoop on rumour status.
What are your thoughts on a possible new lead singer for the Black Eyed Peas? Can anyone ever replace Fergie?Tweet
