The cabs are leaving! Jersey Shore to end after six seasons

It’s the end of a politically incorrect era. MTV has announced today that they will be serving up their final plate of tequila soaked meatballs and ending the Jersey Shore after the upcoming season. MTV made the announcement today, prompting fans worldwide to pour out some Ron Ron Juice for their eight fallen guidos.

The news doesn’t come as a huge shock with many of the cast members entering new life phases. Nicole ‘Snooki’ Polizzi, the most famous of the Shore stars, gave birth to her first child over the weekend, with plans to marry fiancé Jionni LaValle in the near future. The final months of Snooki’s pregnancy will be part of the upcoming season of The Jersey Shore. Mike ‘The Situation’ Sorrentino entered rehab earlier this year for his addiction to prescription-medication addiction.

The Jersey Shore roomates have been busy posting their reactions to the news over Twitter with Snooki tweeting “Yes, sadly it’s true. This upcoming season of Jersey Shore will be our last. But it was fricken INSANE. I will always love my roomies!”. Always a good business man, Pauly D hypes up the final season with his tweet, saying “We Saved The Best Season For Last !!! Season 6 Premiers Oct . 4th On @MTV !!! Ohh Yeahhhhhhh”.

While it’s always hard to say good bye to friends, let’s not forget all the good times we’ve shared.
