The Coolest Music Video I’ve Seen In Years: Oren Lavie - Her Morning Elegance

I was sifting through Last.fm’s “Hyped Tracks” charts for the week and came upon this new video from Israeli-American Oren Lavie called Her Morning Elegance. The song was recently used in a commercial for Chevy Malibu but the video is what truly makes the song majestic - one of the best I’ve seen in years. It’s a stop motion video that takes place in a woman’s bed and it’s actually composed of 3225 still photos taken with one camera that hung from the ceiling - that’s right: no video cameras were used in the making of the video. Unbelievable.
The video was directed by husband and wife team Yuval and Merav Nathan with Oren Lavie serving as co-director. The video features Israeli actress Shir Shomron and cameos from Oren Lavie.

Occassionally, a video surpasses the song. While it is a very good song, the video is outstanding. Thanks for bringing it to my attention.
