The Cribs “Chi-Town” (Stream)

It always seemed inevitable that The Cribs would always end up working with Steve Albini at his at Electrical Audio space in Chicago, and that’s exactly what they’ve done with their new album. Actually, In The Belly Of The Brazen Bull was also made with Dave Fridmann, but “Chi-Town,” the first track offered from the LP is pure Albini, with its raw metallic guitar sound that recalls Nirvana’s In Utero, which, of course, was recorded with you know who.
