Later tonight Toronto will be embroiled in a ‘Battle Of The Bands’ of sorts, only the catalyst for the death match was borne in TV commercials – both The Fratellis AND The Cribs are performing (at different shows!) tonight, and both bands ‘hit the big time’ thanks to their songs being featured in TV ads. Both shows have also been dead sold out for months!!

One band (The Cribs) is made up of ACTUAL brothers (Gary & Ryan are twins, and younger brother Ross Jarman is in the band too), whereas The Fratellis (“brothers” in Italian), who’ve each adopted the same surname (just like The Ramones, how rock ‘n roll!), are not at all related.

Personally I’ll be going to see The Cribs, since I’ll get my fill of The Fratellis when they hit MOD later today. I’ll fill you in tomorrow morning after the show!
