Swedish pop maestros The Embassy are probably only second to Refused and ABBA when it comes to the most influential artists Sweden ever produced. If you aren’t familiar with them, well, that’s part of the problem. They are criminally overlooked, yet their sophisticated studio pop echoes throughout the work of the Tough Alliance and their subsequent projects, Studio and Dan Lissvik’s production, The Radio Dept., Korallreven, Air France, Little Dragon, The Honeydrips and so on.
