So, The Flaming Lips are taking songwriting to a whole new level. First there was this whole thing about releasing songs in the format of a gummy skull, fetus, vagina, you name it. Then there was the six-hour track titled “I Found a Star On The Ground.” And if you thought they’d lost the plot with that one, well check this one out. You can now hear their latest creation, a 24-hour-long cut titled “7 Skies H3.” That isn’t a typo, it actually takes a full day to listen to this thing.
You can stream “7 Skies H3″ by visiting it’s own special site here. Or, if you have lots of disposable income, you can drop $5000 on an actual skull, which contains the song. Again, that isn’t a typo.
