The Flaming Lips feat. Ke$ha & Biz Markie “2012… You Must Be Upgraded” (Stream)

The Flaming Lips won the award for most talked about release of Record Store Day 2012 with their new full-length, The Flaming Lips And Heady Fwends. Featuring tracks from previously released EPs and collaborations with Chris Martin, Bon Iver, Nick Cave, Neon Indian, Erykah Badu and Prefuse 73, the album saw a limited release of only 10,000 copies worldwide. For the time being, the vinyl is the only place to hear it, however, it will see a digital release at some point.

What is perhaps the most anticipated collabo surfaced on RSD, “2012… You Must Be Upgraded” finds both Ke$ha and Biz Markie contributing. As you’d expect, it’s absolutely bonkers.
