The Game the Wii Was Made For

If you’re going to make a video game console where you swing and jab with a controller instead of button mashing, you’re going to need a Star Wars light sabers game. It’s simple logic. Well, thanks to this story at Fin24, we have confirmation that our logic is sound:
“The head of the LucasArts, the game division for “Star Wars” series creator George Lucas, told AFP a Wii game that lets players wield virtual light sabers is on the horizon.”

Sweet.

Light saber sound effects definitely need to be blasting out of the Wiimote’s built-in speakers. That’s also plain logic.
