The Hills Recap: Just Another Drama Filled Night

You don’t even know what’s right or wrong anymore…It’s so sad.
- Elodie Finally Stands Up To Heidi

Can we all agree on the fact that Lauren Conrad’s life is ridiculously dull without the likes of Spencer, Heidi and Jason? The last two episodes of The Hills have been tres dull but thank god for the triumphant return of the sleazy duo infamously known as Speidi (the couple you love to hate)!

So here’s a breakdown of last night’s episode, Homeboy and Homegirl Get Confronted:

- Heidi gets an assistant! Errr…kind of. The newly promoted ‘Event Director’ decides to take the intern under her wing and make her the glorified assistant. The only directing Heidi does is bossing the intern around to do her tedious tasks. Lucky girl gets the fun task of transferring Heidi’s contacts into her new cellphone. Has no one heard of a SIM card?

- Whitney goes on a location hunt for Marc Jacobs first runway show in L.A.! Lucky, lucky, lucky. Lauren joins her and of course is in Jason lala land so is of no use, once again.

- Jay-wall and Lauren go out to dinner at Ketchup. If Jason acts as crazy as he does sober, it really makes me wonder what kind of effed up things he does when he’s drunk?

- Lauren gives Jason the sex eyes but Mr. Wahler is completely oblivious (as per usual) to any advances made by Ms. Conrad. He really must be a changed man.

- Finally, Speidi arrive! A few snide remarks are thrown in LC and Jay’s direction and tensions build. DRAMA DRAMA DRAMA. Speidi are kind enough to send some drinks to JLC’s table and ponder over such questions as:

“I wonder if they’re still in the movie-making business?”

Jason is ready to revert to old ways and kick some serious ass but takes the higher route. Wow, he really is different. Lauren gives him the eye some more and the duo decide to be ‘mature’ about the situation and leave.

- LC confides in Whitney. Heidi confides in Elodie. The difference being that Elodie, still bitter from Heidi’s conniving move, puts Heidi into her place. Heidi has just lost her only friend. Single tear.

Lessons learned from this episode:

- Heidi doesn’t know how to count: girl, you’ve only been working at Bolthouse for a year, not two. I don’t know what universe she’s been living in.

- Lauren’s vocabulary has expanded. Homeboy, Homeboy, Homeboy.

OK, if you didn’t think this recap was enough watch the entire show online at mtv.ca!

One more thing: Uhhhh, please watch Heidi’s debut as a singer! hahahaha… Ms. Montag lip-synched her little and I stress little heart out in Las Vegas! Spence must’ve been so proud of his Double D fiance.

And another thing: LC’s clothing line… Anyone willing to spend 150 for a bedsheet?

  1. There are no words to explain just how painful it is to watch Heidi’s “performance”. I’m not trying to be hateful to her, but seriously, it was a trainwreck. She looked as professional as a bunch of ninth-graders frolicking around on stage to a Christina Aguilera track at a highschool talent show. Maybe if she had downplayed the flailing Mariah Carey arm shaking I would have bought it as a decent stab. Spencer, on the other hand, give Brody a call. He has your balls.
