The Host soundtrack features new music from Ellie Goudling and Skylar Grey

The soundtrack for the upcoming sci-fi flick, The Host, starring Oscar-nominated actress Saoirse Ronan, has been revealed. Named after the film’s tagline (“Choose to Believe. Choose to Fight. Choose to Love”), Choose to Listen is full of international talent, including American singer Skylar Grey, English band Die Mason Die and Irish brothers Hudson Taylor.

The album opens with Soul Outside, the film’s instrumental theme by Antonio Pinto, a Golden Globe-nominated music composer. The Dirty Tees Remix of Imagine Dragons’ Radioactive rounds up the ten-song album, which also includes new songs from Ellie Goulding, Skylar Grey and X Ambassadors.

Andrew Niccols directs the film, which is based on Stephanie Meyer’s 2008 best-selling novel about an alien invasion taking over the bodies of humans and erasing their memories. Ronan takes on the role of the story’s heroine, Melanie Stryder.

Choose to Listen, which was executive produced by KIDinaKORNER Records producer Alex da Kid and Stephanie Meyer, will be available on March 26. The film will be released in theaters on March 29.
