After staying out all night in an attempt to win over her Saying Grace cast members and trying to convince them she won’t spill the holy beans on their relationship, Abby finally makes it back to The Lux. Nick tries to take the opportunity to finally tell her about Sabrina and get Abby’s input on his battle at work to stay working, but Abby is too busy checking herself out on TV and running back to set to listen to her boyfriend.

On the set of Saying Grace, Abby gets her second strike when Donald is put off by Abby not leaving enough room for the holy ghost when she kisses Brandon.

After getting a talking to by the Donald, Brandon gives Abby a quick peck on the cheek and some advice on Nick – call and apologize.

Abby takes his advice, but when she calls Nick, she is shocked by Sabrina answering the phone.

When Nick declined Sabrina’s advances and told her he was with Abby, the truce was off and Sabrina was ready to play dirty. That includes stealing Nick’s car, cell phone and wallet and leaving him at the burger joint during their lunch break.

It’s at this point that Abby tries calling Nick and instead finds the girl Nick slept with picking up his phone.

Abby rushes into Nick’s room that night, demanding to know why Sabrina was answering his phone.

When Nick attempts to explain that Sabrina is the other writer vying for the same job, Abby doesn’t want to hear what he has to say.

Instead, she decides that they moved in together too quickly and wants to break up.

Beth takes Cam and Kevin up on their offer to do head shots for Simon, but the casting agent refuses to use them and miss out on getting Simon and Beth’s money for her shots. Beth storms out, not realizing that no one will see Simon without an agent.

Back at the Lux, Cam tells Beth about an illegal site that she can use to find out where the castings are being held. Unfortunately, you still need an agent to get in.

Beth’s plan to call the casting receptionist back and pose as an agent works, but Simon still doesn’t book the part. It’s not a total wash of a day, though.

Cam and Kevin arrive with extra Chinese food, all part of what I assume is Cam’s master plan to get to know Beth. Okay, maybe it’s not a master plan, but it’s still cute.

Connor manages to get Raquel a role on his show, which means more time for them to spend together. Unfortunately, it also means more time that Raquel has to watch Jennifer Bell visit Connor on set and pretend to be his girlfriend. This includes finding out it’s Connor’s birthday and surprising him with a cake.

When Raquel invites Connor out that night so that she can celebrate his birthday with him, Connor declines after already accepting Jennifer’s invite to join him at an exclusive restaurant where a paparazzo is scheduled to take their picture together.

Raquel comes home to find Abby sleeping by the pool. With their relationship still tense, the women go their separate ways, until Abby sees Raquel collapse by her front door. Abby runs to help Raquel, who waives her off, realizing she just got her period and had a miscarriage.

Raquel opens the door to her room, which she has filled with decorations and presents for Connor’s birthday.

Now that Rook has snuck Kaldrick out of rehab, he’s back to being the King and promoting his new single. But from press conferences to the studio, Kal sees Tariq everywhere he goes. While on a radio show taking calls from fans, Kaldrick gets a message from Walter, who tells him that the 19th street Mission is always there for him. Is this someone that knows Kaldrick’s secret?

After storming out of the studio when Dynasty stands up to his diva behaviour, Kal tells Rook that he just wants to go home and relax.

But Rook interprets that as going home to a house full of people wanting to party.

Kaldrick remains calm, even when an up and coming MC named Infinite Jester walks into the party and tries to battle Kal.

After Kaldrick shows that he’s still the king, the Jester takes a swing at Kal and Rook jumps on top of the young rapper, pounding his face and giving Kal another flashback to Tariq.

Thankfully, Kaldrick manages to pull Rook off the kid before any permanent damage is done.

Finally admitting to himself that his friend is suicidal, Rook tells Kaldrick that he won’t let him out of his sight and gives him two minutes to use the bathroom alone.

That gives Kal enough time to sneak out his window and make his way to the 19th Street Mission. At the front desk, Kaldrick asks for Walter – his father!
