Nick wakes up to an affectionate Sabrina showering him with kisses and a Pinterest-worthy breakfast. But the softer side of Sabrina quickly vanishes when she reminds Nick that today is the day Scott chooses one of them to stay on as a writer on the show and Sabrina is convinced it will be her.

At work, Sabrina sees that Scott has taken Nick on as his newest buddy. During their break, Sabrina attacks Nick and blames him for being the reason she probably won’t get the writing job.

That afternoon, Nick gets the job and quickly chases after a very upset Sabrina, who takes out all her anger on Nick. She’s predictable. And kinda mean.

Nick shows up at Sabrina’s apartment that night and refuses to let her break up with him over a job. He even goes as far as calling Scott to quit, but thankfully Sabrina stops him before he can get his words out.

Jennifer and Connor are having breakfast with Eric, who is still staying with them. They’ve turned into the happiest threesome ever. Well, not like a Saying Grace-threesome. More functional and less praying. Jennifer is on her way to a meeting and tells Connor that she’s kicking Eric out that night, but Connor convinces her to let Eric stay a few more nights in hopes that he can get through to her ex-husband and help him get sober.

Jennifer is gone only a few moments before Eric gets drunk and smashes her crystal vase. Confused, Connor chases after Eric and takes his car keys from him. Connor jumps into Eric’s truck and takes off, leaving Eric at Jennifer’s house.

Connor returns with a vase that looks like the one Eric broke and convinces him to stay, saying that Jennifer needs Eric around. Connor’s speech work and Eric agrees to stay, possibly realizing that it’s Connor who needs people around.

Beth has arranged for Cam and Kevin to film Simon’s next audition, but Simon is still furious with his sister that she made him quit his last job. Cam and Kevin are shooting Simon’s audition and he won’t cooperate, instead screaming at Beth that he hates her. Aren’t siblings fun?!

Simon demands that Beth call their father and tell him to pick Simon up. Beth finally admits that their father isn’t working in Alaska, but actually left them and has gone missing.

Beth finds comfort in talking to Cam, who tells her that she’s not alone. Right on cue, Beth gets a call telling her that Simon got a call back for the Bill Nye science show. Beth celebrates by picking up burgers for her and Simon, but when she comes home she finds note from Simon saying he’s leaving to find their father.

Raquel checks on Zack, the patient that Ricky went after in group, and realizes that he really is sick and has been through much more than she thought. Oh wait, that was just for the cameras. Sorry, I forgot we were dealing with Raquel.

Raquel finds Ricky in the shower and has another secret conversation with him. She tells Ricky to go after Zack about the issues Zack shared with Raquel, but Ricky says that he won’t attack someone if he’s unprovoked. Moving onto Plan B, Raquel finds Zack and pretends that she heard a rumour that Ricky has been telling the other patients that Zack doesn’t belong there and isn’t really an addict. She suggests that Zack not let other people walk all over him and Zack storms off.

Zack finds Ricky and goes after him, but Ricky fights back, even using the information about Zack’s mom that Raquel fed him. Raquel yells at Ricky and calls him a bully in front of the cameras.

Raquel announces to the cameras that she’s going to check on Zack, but when she gets into his room she finds him in the middle of a seizure after overdosing on pills he snuck into the facility.

Zack is taken away on a stretcher and Ricky looks mortified, but I don’t know that this is enough of a wake up call for Raquel to stop working the other patients in order to make herself look good.

Abby still doesn’t understand the ‘don’t talk about threesomes at work’ rule and tries apologizing to Laura at work. Laura doesn’t accept her apology and vows to do everything she can to get Abby fired from the show.

Brandon tells Abby that she needs to stay away from him and Laura and rides off on his golf cart before Abby can ask any more questions.

Abby and Brandon are shooting a kissing scene together and Abby can’t concentrate with Laura watching them. She messes up her line repeatedly, forcing one retake after another until Laura looses control and lunges Abby, accusing her of messing up on purpose.

Donald, who is watching from his office, calls the three actors in for a talk.

Laura and Brandon throw Abby under the bus and tell Donald that Abby has been messing up her lines and is acting unprofessionally. Abby decides she’s not going down without a fight and tells Donald that she’s been sleeping with Laura and Brandon.

Laura makes up lies about Abby and Abby snaps. She begins searching Donald’s office to show that even Donald can’t comply with the morality clause. Unfortunately, she doesn’t find anything but a pink slip telling her she’s fired.

Kaldrick and Dawn are in bed together, but Kaldrick is unable to perform and quickly leaves. Later that day, Kaldrick gets a call from his lawyer, informing him that Infinite Jester is coming after Kaldrick for $1 million for the pain and suffering caused by the fight at Kaldrick’s house.

Jester’s lawyer offers Kaldrick a deal and says that for $200,000 this will never go public. Kaldrick ain’t passed the bar but he knows a little bit. King points out that Jester was trespassing and in that case, force can be used. Kaldrick got 99 problems, but Jester ain’t one of them.

Jester’s lawyer runs after Kaldrick and tells him that while he dropped his client, he thinks that Kaldrick should mentor the young MC. Kaldrick thinks it sets the wrong precedent, but is polite to the lawyer, who may I add is hella fionne.

Kaldrick gets to the shelter after his meeting, but is quickly called outside by Walter who sees his car on fire.

Kaldrick runs outside in time to watch his car blow up and see Infinite Jester drive away.

Kaldrick storms into Jester’s lawyer’s office and demands to speak to his ex-client. But the conversation quickly turns to something else when the lawyer kisses Kaldrick, who kisses him back. Do any of Kaldrick’s kisses ever begin without a lot of aggression? I think not.

Did Raquel go too far with instigating Zack and Ricky at Celebrity Half Way House?
