Les Miserables, actually. But for Aaron Tveit, better known as Gossip Girl’s Nate Archibald’s equally hot cousin Tripp Vanderbilt, I wouldn’t call acting alongside Hugh Jackman, Russell Crowe, Anne Hathaway and Amanda Seyfried miserable.

I’d call it pretty freakin’ fantastic! Tveit as just been announced as playing a the role of a rebellion leader Les Miserables. Casting news for the upcoming musical adaption has been gaining momentum as month after month A-list celebrities have been announced in leading roles. Rumours are also circling Sacha Baron Cohen, Helena Bonham Carter and Taylor Swift are in talks for roles in the film as well.

In case your wondering, Tveit is no stranger to singing. He starred in leading roles in the musicals Wicked and Hairspray, as well as Catch Me If You Can and Next To Normal.

Aaron Tveit was recently seen in the fall finale of Gossip Girl, and may or may not have caused Blair to lose her baby (he may have been involved with Max Owens cutting the brake lines on the limo for Nate – the same limo Blair and Chuck got into the night of Charlie’s party). He’ll probably pop back up again to finish off his story line, and then it’s off to France to film Les Miserables.
