Remember that hilarious Seinfeld episode where Jerry starts carrying a man-purse, but is afraid to admit it?

(A pickpocket runs by, stealing Jerry’s bag)
Jerry: Hey! Officer! Someone took my European carry-all!
Cop: Your what?
Jerry: The…black, leather…thing with a strap.
Cop: You mean a purse?
Jerry: Yes, a purse. I carry a purse!

Well it seems that the man-purse is now a hot item and guys are embracing the look. Canada.com has put up a few pics of celebs donning the once laughable carry-all. Should us lowly non-celeb pedestrians hop on this fashion bandwagon as well?

Explain to me what’s wrong with having a Murse? Not a damn thing is what. I have to have somewhere to keep my assorted electronics, foodstuffs, keys, pogs, pressed flowers and jazz cigarettes. Am I right? Who’s with me?
