Now that the Royal Wedding is over we can focus our attention on the next set of “celebrity” nuptials: Bella and Edward’s wedding in Twilight! The Swan-Cullen affair has been a long time coming, both for fans of the movie and curious fashionistas. In fact the level of speculation over who would design Bella’s dress almost reached the same heights as Kate Middleton’s gown, with everyone from Zac Posen to Monique Lhuillier being mentioned as possibilities.

Well now the secret is out: Summit Entertainment (the production company behind Twilight) has confirmed Bella will be wearing a custom-made Carolina Herrera gown for the big wedding scene. Herrera is known for her red-carpet-worthy gowns, but released a bridal collection this year. Perhaps it inspired the dress she created for Twilight? We’ll have to wait to see what Bella wears but we’re sure it will look stunning! We wouldn’t expect anything less!
