The Polyphonic Spree are the perfect band for many occasions and moods, but Christmas might just take the cake. The band uncovered a lost song recently and decided to make a video featuring footage from a couple of holiday shows they played in 2007. They explain it below:
“It’s Christmas” is an original Christmas song composed by Tim DeLaughter and recorded in the fall of 2003. The song was lost in the shuffle during the early stages of the Together We’re Heavy recording sessions. The files were recently found… and finally mixed. The song has appeared at every Polpyhonic Spree Christmas show. Oscar, age 3, makes a genuine appearance on recording as he is caught on tape while hanging with his dad, Tim, during the vocal session.
