The Pretty Reckless get unplugged for You

Still riding high with sold out tours around the world in support of their 2010 album Light Me Up, The Pretty Reckless have released a music video for You, the softest and most melodic track off their hard rock debut album. As is the norm with most of TPR’s videos, lead singer and former Gossip Girl start Taylor Momsen appears on screen sans her other band members.

In the video for You, one of my favourite tracks from the throw back rock and roll band, Taylor watches videos of herself with a former lover projected on the wall of an empty room. I’m not sure whether it’s actually Momsen in the sex scenes or a body double since we never actually see her face, but either way the video definitely hits the right note for the melancholy song of lost love.
