Writer and director Scott Cudmore brings us the music video for “Tornado 87′” by Toronto-based band, The Rural Alberta Advantage. He stretches the three-and-a-half minute track into an eight-and-a-half minute short film, as he tells the story of the tornado that took place in Edmonton in 1987, that singer and guitarist Nils Edenloff remembers so well. The beautifully shot video and mesmorizing narrative make for a good watch, so check it out below.
“Tornado 87′” falls on The Rural Alberta Advantage’s sophomore album, Departing, which is out now on Paper Bag Records.
