The Sea & Cake “Harps” (Video)

Last month, Chicago indie rock vets The Sea & Cake released their tenth album, Runner, right in the middle of a back catalogue reissue campaign by their longstanding label, Thrill Jockey. “Harps” tells the story of two young women, with virtually nothing to do but look fabulously retro, who discover a discarded tape recorder and mic, which they use to make a range of field recordings (i.e. a basketball bouncing to a banana peeling).
