Adam and Cassie wake up together…naked. Well, then.

John Blackwell finds Cassie’s house covered in dead crows and he knows that Cassie and Adam have set off the curse placed on their families years ago. The birds are a sign that the curse has been activated by Cassie and Adam sleeping together. John doesn’t know the details of the curse, but he knows it was bad enough for Cassie’s mother to leave Chance Harbour. Plus, it’s called a ‘curse’, which is never good.

Hoping she’ll know about the curse, Cassie visits her grandmother at the nursing home. Unfortunately, Cassie’s grandmother Jane keeps confusing Cassie with her mother, Amelia. Having John Blackwell around doesn’t help matters. Cassie pretends to be her mother and asks Jane about the curse. Cassie learns that a witch cursed the two families years ago and by awakening the curse she has doomed someone in her circle to death.

Faye goes to Lee’s house to find him and instead finds Eva. When Faye refuses to leave, Eva throws a glass at Faye’s head.

Faye wants Melissa and Diana to help her find Lee, but they’re worried she’s just obsessing about another guy.

Cassie and Adam tell the girls about the curse and while Faye is shocked, Diana is shoooooocked.

That’s rough. Faye thinks it’s just a story and nothing to worry about and heads out with the rest of the circle to find Lee.

Jake wakes up shirtless (yay) to voices in his head and Cassie checking on him. He’s got weird veins showing up on his arms and it looks like he’s the one hit by the curse. Not the hot guy! Come on!

Cassie and Adam fill Jake in on the curse, but thankfully John thinks he’s found a way to break the curse. The spell requires rare herbs and John thinks they should talk to Calvin, who owns the herb shop. Remember Calvin? Jake killed him. Kar-ma.

Calvin’s niece helps the witches with their list, but the store is missing one key ingredient that they will have to find in the forest. Jake, who is looking progressively worse (hard to believe), sees Calvin’s ghost in the store.

The girls search Lee’s car hoping to find some clues as to where he’s disappeared to, but instead find weird voo doo stuff. Not that there’s normal voo doo stuff.

Unfortunately, they’re interrupted by a police office and his flashing lights. Diana plays the ‘Faye’s a crazy ex girlfriend’ card and it seems to be working until Melissa and Faye step in and magically unsnap her shirt.

They’re headed to jail until Eva steps in and clears things up with the police officer.

Conjuring up all the energy he has left, Jake pushes Adam’s buttons by saying it should be him and Cassie together. Cassie breaks up the fight, but by then Jake’s hallucinations are so bad he thinks his bottle of water is a witch crue used to kill witches.

The three keep walking until it’s dark and Jake thinks that Adam is a dead Calvin and tries to kill him.

Cassie uses her dark magic and throws Jake into a tree, but because of his screams his secret is now out and Cassie and Adam know that Jake killed Calvin.

Dawn and Charles are worried that with John visiting Jane at the nursing home she’ll start to remember what happened to her. She’ll also remember who killed Amelia. Does this mean it was Charles? Wha??? Dawn and Charles visit Jane at the nursing home and Jane still thinks she’s in the past when her daughter is still alive. Charles shows Jane a crystal and uses its power to find out what Jane talked to John about earlier that day.

Faye goes back to Lee’s to look for more clues and Eva confronts Faye, who quickly realizes that Lee took Faye’s power and gave it to Eva to bring her back to life. Instead, Eva is relieved to learn that Faye is also a witch and wants help to unkill Lee. It’s neither a word nor a possibility.

When Eva begins to break Faye’s fingers, Faye quickly pretends she can bring people back from the dead. While in Lee’s room, Faye finds the totem that Lee used to steal her powers and breaks it, cutting off Faye’s powers from Eva. That’s it? No saving Lee? This is not a good episode for hotties.

Jake is getting worse by the minute, but John has crafted the drink required to save his life. Unfortunately, it has to be consumed by Cassie and Adam and it will cause them to forget that they’re in love.

Cassie and Adam say their final good bye and drink the really gross looking mixture that John concocted with Melissa.

Cassie and Adam wake up together again, but with lots of clothes on. Adam realizes that he doesn’t feel the same nerves that are typically associated with being with Cassie and knows that he doesn’t love Cassie anymore. But Cassie doesn’t feel the same. Ooooo that’s harsh.

John thinks Cassie’s power is too strong and that’s why she can still feel for Adam. It’s not much of a condolence to a love-sick Cassie. John tries comforting Cassie, but she tells him she would rather be alone.

Dawn confronts John and calls him out on the Blake curse being fake and John admits that he used the small amount of power he has left to create the curse. He wants Adam and Cassie as far away from each other as possible since Adam’s father Ethan and Cassie’s mother Amelia almost let their feelings for one another destroy the circle. Before Dawn can try to blackmail John with the information, he drops a bomb and tells Dawn that the witch hunters are back. Time to be nice to the guy that still has powers.

Charles visits Jane again, but this time it’s in the middle of the night and he’s brought the crystal with him. This dude is evil on evil.
