Here’s a little somethin somethin from the latest co-host of The Shift, Erica! Watch her episode tomorrow at 9pm ET!

Hey Everyone,

Well where do I begin?… Spending an entire day with Matte Babel snowboarding was very interesting to say the least! I got the opportunity to experience something that I wouldn’t normally do with my favourite VJ. Although snowboarding was extremely tricky to get a hold of and I ended up falling more than actually snowboarding, it was an entertaining and memorable experience that I will never forget! PLUS, not only did I get this once in a lifetime opportunity, but my ENTIRE wardrobe was provided to me, courtesy of Burton. So now that I have the wardrobe to keep, and some skills taught by Matte.. I will definitely go back and attempt to use my snowboarding knowledge to the best of my ability (and maybe even get a new instructor).

Co-hosting for an hour with Matte was honestly one of the best experiences of my life. As I want to pursue a career in the broadcasting field, this opportunity allowed me to gain some knowledge and understanding of what a day in the life of a VJ entails. I am certain that this unforgettable experience will only help me with my future goals to be a television broadcaster!

I want to thank everyone at MuchMusic who made my dream day possible especially Matte, Sharon and Jamie! Without each of you, none of this would have happened. This has truly been a remarkable opportunity that I am so grateful for. I hope you all enjoyed this experience as much as I did!!
