The Shift: Joel

Ryerson student Joel recently got to spend the day with Sarah Taylor, checking out the CN Tower and of course, hosting an hour of TV! Watch it all go down tonight at 9pm ET but until then, here’s what he has to say about the experience!
I must say, that was pretty amazing!!!
I’ve been going to school in Toronto for three years now, and I’ve not once been up the CN Tower. I always thought it was a huge tourist thing to do, and plus I have a (small) fear of heights. Fortunately, Sarah was there to help me with my fear - and I overcame them! It turned out to be an absolutely spectacular experience.
It was a perfect day to experience the tower, there wasn’t a cloud in the sky. We could definitely see New York State from the very top - we also had a photoshoot on the glass floor, and had an amazing lunch as well! It doesn’t get any better than that.
I have to thank Sharon for arranging all of this, Sarah for being so authentic and cool, and Jamie for his help as well. ALSO a huuuge shout-out to all my homies in 3rd-year RTA at Ryerson, and all my friends back in Saint John, N.B. baby!

Your spring break show is the worst piece of crap I have ever seen, and I have seen some bad TV. Your host that pees in the pool will be forever looked upon as the girl with fake boobs who makes trailer trash look like royalty!!! Great example for our upcoming generation. Why didn’t she take a crap on TV and pick her nose at the same time. She may as well have. She makes Paris look like an angel.
