Best experience of my life!

I’m in my final year of high school and can’t wait to graduate. I’m so ready to get out there and start learning what I really want to do - which is makeup. But not just any makeup…fashion/runway makeup.
I’ve always had a passion for fashion and wanted to find a way into the industry. And, I’ve always had a knack for makeup, so what better way to express it than on runway shows!

Being backstage at a real fashion show and being able to see how the industry works was the most amazing experience I’ve ever had. Talking to the makeup artists was incredible because I was able to see how they got to where they are today, and how I can set myself out there with the same steps they took. The night was a huge success, and I was able to finally be a part of a real live fashion show - the clothes, the models, the stress, and the excitement…I got the whole 9 yards.

I would like to give a huge thanks to Sharon Kavanaugh for setting this up for me, and to Devon for making co-hosting with him seem like a piece of cake. Also, I’d like to give a thanks to JP for showing me around and introducing me to the people in the industry. It was awesome!

Jennifer, I noticed yr name re “The Shift”, which I assume is a canadian tv show. (I live in San Antonio, Texas so I cannot see it here). As the family genealogist, I see our names are similar. My husband’s grandfather, Ignatz, came from Poland to the U.S. via the port of Baltimore, Md.in the mid 1880’s. The exact date is not at hand as I write this. He settled in the St.Louis,Mo. area where he is buried. If any of this sounds familiar, we may be related. If you are interested if further discussion or have any info to share with me, you can email me at inikolewski@gmail.com. Thanks for yr time.
