The Shift: Steve

Tonight’s episode of The Shift features Steve, an aspiring musician who was surprised with a music label A&R meeting. Nice! Watch him co-host tonight at 9pm ET, ya hear?

Steve’s blog:

I would like to start off by saying that Matte Babel is probably one of the most down to earth people I have met so far in the entertainment industry as far as Television faces. The whole day was nothing short of an amazing experience. When we were at the video shoot I got to meet a Label A&R Representative, which gave me a broad outlook on what I need to do in order to make it in the music industry. It really opened my eyes to a lot of new things.

I have never been on set of a pro music video shoot and I finally got to experience what it takes to make a good music video. Being in that atmosphere also made me realize that I have to – not hope to – make it! Me and Matte also got a chance to snag a few doughnuts from the green room but shh.

All together, being on The Shift was a perfect way to get a good look at the industry I plan on making a career in. Everybody I met was awesome and I just want to thank Sharon for giving me a chance to do this and for believing in me.

I won’t forget you guys!
