Tomorrow’s episode of The Shift features Vera. The Shift took her & her fav VJ (Tim Deegan) for an exclusive day at The Toronto Zoo. They even got to wash a VERY large Rhino! Check out their day together as Vera gets to play VJ & co-host The Shift tomorrow (Sept 23) @ 11pm ET.

As soon as I heard about The Shift I decided that I would make a video. It took me a ridiculously long time to make my two minute introduction to me but I finally finished it and sent it in. I honestly did not ever expect to hear back from them but then by chance, on a break from the camp I was working at, I had the opportunity to check my e-mail and surprise! I was going to the zoo with Tim Deegan! The zoo is one of my most favourite places to go and I’m so thankful to Much Music for taking me there and allowing me to do awesome stuff like washing a freakin’ rhino! Talk about a new experience! And even though it rained that day and we didn’t get to ride the camels, I’d like to let you know that I’ve since been back to the zoo and I got my camel ride.

Thank you so much Tim and Sharon for taking me to the zoo and being super nice to me, even though I was being kind of quiet. I’m not shy, I was just in awe! Thank you to all the staff at Much who picked on Tim and made me feel so special while I was there. And thank you to all my friends, both from camp and home, who are super excited to see my zoo adventures and have put up with all of my insane chatter about my time with The Shift.
