The Shins “The Rifle’s Spiral” (Video)

The Shins impressed with with their previous video for “Simple Song,” and they’ve done it again with their new one, “The Rifle’s Spiral.” Emmy-winning animator Jamie Caliri directed the stop-motion clip, and told Nowness, “I have always loved Edward Gorey’s illustration work and his influence is apparent throughout the video. Also, seeing Martin Scorsese’s Hugo three times subconsciously veered my thoughts onto the magic theme.”
