
The National Board of Review has chosen The Social Network as the best film of 2010. The Board, made up of film critics, historians and students in the US, gave top honours to the film based on the creation of social media mega company Facebook.
Best Director, Best Adapted Screenplay, and Best Actor for Jesse Eisenberg were three of the four accolades awarded to The Social Network in addition to Best Film. Previous winners of the prestigious award include No Country for Old Men and Slumdog Millionaire.
