Any time I tell people that I have met Ozzy Osbourne they tend to freak out. And by “people” I mean boys. Ozzy’s one of those icons that boys just lose their shit over. So I love telling them that I’ve met him twice! The most recent time was back in January just before he hit the stage at the ACC.

MuchMoreMusic host Matt Wells did a hilarious interview backstage where he and Ozzy talked about bats, booze and bad luck. They also talked about jerking off…and yeah, that’s in the show. The show! It’s finally done! I can’t even believe it got finished on time.

After a few delays, my editor Jennifer and I pulled this production off in 3 weeks (that’s after a month of screening every single Ozzy & Black Sabbath tape in the Much library, transcribing each word, which if you know how Ozzy speaks was challenging to say the least (!) and writing the script. Now that it is finished and ready for air I got to say it rocks! Ozzy’s story is funny, endearing, heartbreaking and the music kicks ass! And a bonus treat for all you kids, we have exclusive commentary from acclaimed filmmaker and Rock & Roll Anthropologist Penelope Spheeris. Her cool credits include Wayne’s World, Suburbia and The Decline of Western Civilization films. Her perspective is not to be missed. Other awesome peeps in the show include Queens of the Stone Age, Alice in Chains, Marilyn Manson, Henry Rollins, Billy Corgan and more!
