Anglo-French discotheque worthy group The Teenagers are having their first ever North American tour! There are only nine shows, but luckily they are stopping by Toronto’s The Social on January 27 (the day before my b-day!), 2008.
If you don’t already know the saucy, Scarlett Johansson-obsessed troupe, give them a listen. I was able to watch a short set of theirs this summer at the Underage festival in London. It was wild!

Is it also weird that if this show stays at The Social (a bar), youth that are the age demographic of the band’s name won’t even be able to go to the show!?
This will be a saucy show. I’m hoping Montreal will be added to the list. Been digging the demos floating around.
They’re quite good remixers as well (Goodbooks, Simian Mobile Disco, Air … etc)
I played them on my podcast this week and uploaded the music video for “Homecoming” on my blog.
LOSER
You really did kinda put way to much effort into making yourself seem like a basement dwelling spaz

is it weird (well, i know it’s weird) that they remind me of Simple Minds (the people that originally sang ‘Don’t You Forget About Me’ for The Breakfast Club)?
