5. Hustlin’ (watch) - This term goes too far back to give proper credit to any modern artists, but it really came back when Rick Ross dropped his song of the same name and pushed it over the top.

4. Stan (watch) - Eminem’s song about a fan’s obsession changed the way people refer to superfans, anyone loves an artist too much has since become a “Stan”.

3. Ether (watch) - Nas came out swinging at Jay-Z after their simmering beef became public at SummerJam. Anyone who gets annihilated by a battle-rap has now been “Ethered.”

2. Make It Rain (watch) - Making it rain means to throw money on a crowd of people, ie. raining money. Fat Joe and Lil’ Wayne made the term mainstream and get the credit for this one.

1. Bling Bling (watch) - B.G. made this phrase cool for your grandparents to say when he released the song in ‘98, not so cool anymore but saying it once is still acceptable.
