May 13th, 2014
In the coming weeks, Twitter has announced a new feature that will allow users to “mute” people they’re following. By muting a person, you can block out a person’s Tweets and responses to you from your feed, completely ignoring them without having to fully unfollow and block them. Win-win!
Take a look below and see how this new development has totally saved our lives.
At first, you followed this person because they seemed harmless. Why not, you thought.
But then you started seeing their Tweets and you realized…
They’re really effing annoying.
You tell yourself that you NEED to unfollow immediately, but part of you feels bad doing so.
So now you feel trapped.
And every time their Tweets show up on your feed, you’re just like:
But wait! Now you can subtly block them from your feed thanks to the new Twitter mute function!
That’s right! You can keep this person off of your feeds while still following them so they won’t clog up your feed and notifications anymore!
Now you can safely scroll your feed in peace.
And ignore this person on Twitter forever.
