The Vampire Diaries add Grace Phipps to Season 4 cast

Mystic Falls is going to be getting out the white paint and changing the number on its population sign soon. New cast member Grace Phipps has been announced for Season 4 of The Vampire Diaries and will be playing 16 year-old April, who moves back to Mystic Falls after a tragic accident in her family. Having grown up in the small town, April has ties to Elena and her brother Jeremy and will interact with the Gilbert family.

The Vampire Diaries Executive Producer Julie Plec describes Phipps character April as “a natural beauty with a bit of an edge” and will be someone that new vampire Elena will want to protect.

The Vampire Diaries returns with new episodes this fall.
