You now have the chance to get *that* much closer to re-enacting every episode from The Vampire Diaries! Or is that just my fantasy? Anywho, the Gilbert house is up for sale for the reasonable price of $450,000. The famous TV house, which has been home to vampires, witches and mortals, is located in Mystic Falls, Virginia Covington, Georgia and features a 5,900 sq. ft. white main house and 2,000 sq. ft. guest house. The actual Vampire Diaries home is located just 5 minutes from The Grill just minutes from downtown.
Before we all start pulling out our cheque books, what does this mean for the show? The Vampire Diaries has been renewed for a fourth season (thank the lawd), but will the show be going on without the Gilbert house? What does that mean for Jeremy and Elena? Is their house going to explode in this Friday’s Season 3 finale? Are they going to sell the house that seems to curse their guardians (dead parents, dead aunt, dead and now un-dead guardian Alaric)? Or will all the scenes of the house now be shot only on the inside. I like the exploding theory better.
Check out more info on The Vampire Diaries house here and don’t miss Friday’s season finale at 8 pm ET on MuchMusic. Catch up with episodes online here!
